Meet Anne Marie
An Independent Prosecutor, Not a Politician.
Anne Marie Schubert is one of California's most accomplished prosecutors, a recognized law enforcement leader who's served with passion and integrity for more than 30 years. Called one of the most consequential public officials in the Sacramento region in the last quarter century, Anne Marie pioneered the use of DNA evidence to convict the guilty and free the innocent.
Twice elected District Attorney of Sacramento County, Anne Marie successfully put some of the state’s most violent and habitual criminals behind bars, including the notorious Golden State Killer, responsible for over fifty rapes and a dozen murders. She's equally dedicated to fighting corruption, blowing the whistle on government incompetence that sent billions in fraudulent unemployment claims to prisoners and scamsters. And her successful effort to fight human trafficking now serves as a model for the entire state.
